On the day we were there they were out of corned beef and pastrami so we chose a MacClaren salami, BLT and salad. The salami would have been better served on Borealis bread instead of the pedestrian sub roll but otherwise was very good. BLT also good the pickle was limp and flaccid suggest keeping them colder or try another .I was missing a pickle with my sandwich. The beer selection was varied and interesting the Pils was enjoyable and nice to have a frosted glass with it
The end of the season is near, so we were lucky to stumble upon this great genuine lunch spot for the best lobster roll we have had in Maine! They use fresh ciabatta-type of bread, with nice texture and flavor, instead of the typical industrial white roll. And the lobster comes from their own boat so it could not be more fresh and sweetly flavorfull. Highly recommended!
Lovely local spot for a quick and yummy lunch. Huge menu with many unique sandwiches. Lots of interesting options for adults and classics for the kids (my five year old said it was his best grilled cheese ever)! Nice that it’s right in downtown and has such a local feel. Would love to go again.
What a sweet place on Main St. I've stopped in a number of times and it's worth commenting. They've got great sandwiches, a nice selection of sodas and the staff and service are hard to beat. I wish only that one could grab a beer on a hot day. Réservez une table maintenant
I had the salad with tuna. The dressing was delicious and the salad was very fresh. My husband enjoyed his roast beef sandwich. The staff were friendly and answered all my celiac questions with a smile.
Food was great. Pesto mozzarella tomato panini, roast-beef and cheddar with horseradish sauce, and Victoria chicken salad were all perfectly done blend of crunchy, soft, savory, and flavors.
The clam chowder was outstanding one of the best I've had in Maine! The pastrami sandwich was excellent lots of lean meat and delicious bread. The staff was polite and attentive.
5 star sandwich shop great food( we got Reuben and John Henry, cups of clam chowder) and relatively fast service. Great quick lunch spot! We will be back! Réservez une table maintenant
