Clara Ray’s Italiano

in the other night I had another fantastic pizza from clara and rays in lexington! her cheese pizza is one of the best I had. they throw the teig, homemake their tomato sauce and use the best ingredients they can find. her cheese is so good and her strokes are also great. my wife loves her excellent aubergine parmigiana and makes me taste. they are a little more pricier than some, but have the quality, plus when they ask, they have a discount card that brings them 10% of what they spend for them next order!

What a pleasant surprise! Stopped in with my wife. We split a pasta dish and a pizza. Both were fantastic. The freshness of the ingredients was obvious. The pizza crust has a great texture and a slightly sweet flavor. The sauce was very neutral, not acidic or overly sweet. I would say just right to allow the other flavors to shine. I know we'll be back soon to try some other dishes!

the personal here is more than amazing! my family came right in front of the close, most unknown to us, so we turned around not keeping them too late. one of the employees chased us down and asked us to come back, that it would make them so happy that we would come back. that is beyond and beyond! and eating, amazing!

I'm from our city, but the locals recommended it. It was delicious, we got two Xtra big 3 meat pizzas couldn't go all in one, so we'd go back the next day.

this place was not disappointed. great place for some real Italian cuisine. the staff was very friendly and helpful. they have to look at this place.
