Clem's delicious chicken is an open Newtowner secret. Juicy and succulent on the inside and crispy on the outside, the nondescript corner chicken shop serves some really good chicken wings and whole chicken. The chicken pieces were wonderfully marinated and could even be better if the oil was filtered so that certain portions were not soggy. Nonetheless, I can guarantee that these chicken pieces are miles better than Mary's, Butter or Hartsyard ????????
Last time I was here before covid lockdowns. nice to see that clems has survived, probably on the strength of his takeaway business. all the dishes my wife and I tried were excellent, and the fried chicken is probably the best in the sydney metropolregion .total excellent. the prices are very reasonable and the service is effective immediately. highly recommended. the atmosphere is from a very high volume collection shop, so it is a bit loud inside.
I've made another shot, and I've worked out the last time they give me a regular meal instead of a big one. the right sizes are for the price ok. the huh is terrible, seemed really much worse than last time. dry and. chew inside and a soggy battery that doesn't taste anything except salt. The Veg pages seemed all very low quality.
Always good to be back here. Their fried chicken though, utterly crispy and delicious!!!! Vegan options are available too! Too bad they always run put of penne pasta every time i come to pay a visit, but lovely food and service regardless! Réservez une table maintenant
spiro and his team have been buried for years for our work functions. its team regularly supplies fresh, tasty food. the services are generous and the service of its friendly staff is no longer. highly recommended.
The mayo makes the wrap taste a little bit greasy but the bbq chicken inside is really great! Very tender, juicy and just perfectly seasoned! Will be back and try their fried chicken next time.
