We went into the place thinking that it was going to be amazing as the reviews suggest, however, our experience was terrible. I ordered a tea that wasn’t tasting particularly great, it lacked flavor and I didn’t even finish it, also, I had to ask for another mug because mine was filthy and some lemon or honey for the tea that they couldn’t provide. My partner got a coffee that wasn’t great either. We wanted some food but it wasn’t really a lot of variety, nevertheless, I ordered a sausage sandwich with onion. We have called here a couple of times on our travels in Wales and always found the staff very friendly and helpful. We usually have a drink and snack and they have always been vey good. On this occasion we both had toasted sandwiches that were wellcooked and well filled. The ordinary tea is very tasty, as is the decaf tea. It has always been clean and the toilet facilities are excellent. We have only bought at the shop once but that was fine well stocked and nice extras to the usual convenience store. Located perfectly along the stretch between Pembrokeshire and Cumbria, this cafe is definitely worth making a stop for. We enjoyed fantastic coffee and delicious homemade cake during our visit. Our group, including two adults and three hungry teenagers, indulged in flat whites and a luxury hot chocolate, along with a variety of cakes including chocolate brownie, Jaffa cake cake, chocolate cake, and carrot cake. Every last crumb was devoured, and our 16-year-old had to resist the urge to lick the plate clean. We were on a road trip in Wales when we saw the cafe on the side of the road. We pulled into the more than ample car park and you are faced with a beautiful modern building housing a cafe and local community shop. The service here is exemplary and having ordered two breakfasts, we were very surprised at the size of the portions and quality of produce. The staff were extremely happy and helpful and shopping for local produce which also helps the community is a brilliant idea. Thankyou and keep it up.

The breakfast was overpriced and the portion size was disappointingly small given the high cost. Additionally, it was served cold. Our order of a jacket potato was undercooked and bland, and it arrived much later than the rest of our food, disrupting our family meal. We experienced a long wait for a table and found the staff's customer service to be disorganized and rude. Overall, we were extremely dissatisfied with our experience and do not recommend this restaurant to others.
I came across this restaurant while driving south on A427 after deciding to skip the busy market day in Machynlleth. I was glad we stopped here. The coffee and tea were excellent. Despite being busy, we were served lunch quickly by the friendly staff. I had the daily special, a generous frittata. After lunch, we took a walk through the village and came back later when the crowds had dispersed. We enjoyed tea and scones for dessert. I would definitely return to this place.
This is a lovely community place serving excellent food and has good things for sale in the shop. It is full of local tourist information and second hand books for sale. They use local products. Clean toilets, Highly recommended.
After making several attempts to find breakfast around Mach, we decided to try here. Nice coffee and our vegetarian breakfasts were delicious. Staff were friendly and polite. Lovely little shop to visit too.

Stopped past here today, lovely building and great coffee. The guy served us within seconds of waiting was polite and charming. Hope to pass again and sit down for food.
