I had a pleasant stay at this restaurant while on my way to somewhere else. In addition to their chilled beers and extensive drink menu, they offer a great selection of diner cakes and ice creams. Some of the meals are two-for-one, which is a nice deal. The space is quite spacious, allowing guests to sit comfortably while enjoying their drinks. There’s also outdoor seating available, which is perfect for sunny days with warm weather. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They will host a fireworks event on Friday, November 5th, which sounds like a wonderful way to spend the evening there.
I used to live near the Clock Tower and moved out of the area not long after it's refit. I was in the area yesterday and decided to have a meal there with my daughter. We had fish finger sandwich and steak sandwich respectively, which was on the menu as a baguette, but chef changed (with consent) to a sandwich as there was milk in it I had registered an intolerance to. The sandwiches were both delicious well done to all concerned
I was delighted to be asked to face paint at The Clock Tower's charity family fun day, and it was such a wonderful event! My children had a fantastic time whilst I painted doing all sorts of activities, and the live bands were brilliant. The atmosphere was amazing, and it was lovely to have an event welcoming all ages of the family. Thank you again for inviting me, and congratulations for all your fundraising!

We really enjoyed our midweek visit. It's a shame that the carvery wasn't available today, but I understand that they can't keep it out for just a few customers in the entire restaurant. The regular menu offered a pleasant dining experience, and the pint was excellent. We will definitely be back!
Lovely place inside and out. Really helpful staff who made us very welcome. I am gluten free and my choice of food was adjusted to suit this.Covid aware. Families and couples etc catered for. Cannot fault.
The draft beer was excellent! While they didn't have Carling, they offered a much tastier alternative called 'Gold,' which I prefer.
