They recently renovated the place and not its called C9 with a black and white theme. They have increased their prices! I usually get the molten lava cake which comes with gelato and fresh strawberries at $8 and now they raised the price up to $13. Ice creams also use to be $3 a scoop which was fantastic and now they are $4.80 scoop! After having dinner in Newtown it was great to go down the road and go to Cloud Nine for some reasonably priced dessert! That is why I went to Cloud Nine instead of the rest of the dessert stops ie Messina! But for the same price I would rather go to Messina.

Vous pouvez lui dire que le mandarin et non orange), mais c'était doux trop sucré. Je suis très heureux que le membre du personnel ait été assuré qu'il y avait quelques fraises dans la tasse! Et j'aimerais revenir pour essayer de plus de saveurs. Notez que la mémoire récemment rénovée est rénovée et maintenant appelée C9 avec un logo noir et blanc.
$3 for one scoop!! There were lots of fun flavours on display but I chose the weekly special of 'mandarin with dried strawberries'. It does actually taste like mandarin (like .. you can tell it's mandarin and not orange) but also it was veeery sweet. I really appreciate how the staff member made sure there were a few strawberries in the cup! And I would like to come back to try more flavours. Note that the store recently renovated and is now called C9 with a black and white logo.

If your a chocolate fiend like myself then I suggest a visit to Cloud 9. I chose Nutella ice cream drizzled in milk chocolate that went hard like ice magic, sandwiched between a triple chocolate brown drizzled in more milk and dark chocolate. This was heavenly indulgent and only $8!!!! Everything is so well priced there. They have a good range of gelato flavours and the staff are friendly.
Another ice cream chain has opened an outlet in Newtown. Besides offering a range of gelato made in house, C9 is also popular for their mouthwatering doughnuts and cookies. I tried their salted caramel and pistachio flavours. The pistachio is nutty, creamy and milky whereas the salted caramel is slightly bitter. If you prefer creamy gelato, C9 might be your cup of tea.
