My first review of 2023! Growing up in Southern California, I was a regular Disney goer and was obsessed with Disney culture. My entire life I wanted to make it at least once to Club 33. So I wished upon a star and my dream came true! If you're visiting the yelp page dedicated to this exclusive club, then you know you have to have a membership or be the guest of a member to dine here. I of course was the latter and had the time of my life. We started by having cocktail hour at the bar where I had one of the best dirty martinis I've ever had. I asked if they had blue cheese olives and because it's Club 33, of course they did. After cocktail hour, my party and I proceeded to the dining room. Angela, our server, introduced herself and presented the 4 course menu. Before getting to the courses, I just have to say that the bread and butter was the best I've ever had. Worth every carb. I loved that they had fries out as an appetizer as well. Course one I went with the Sautéed Diver Scallop with Brussel Sprout, Hazelnut and Browned Butter. Only giving me one was a tease, I wanted another! For course two, I chose to have the Club. 33 French Onion Soup with Braised Beef and Gouryee Cheese. The beef broth was delicious and had a generous amount of beef. Third Course I had Walt's Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon. The steak was cooked to perfection. It's such a nice surprise when I ask for medium rare and actually get medium rare. For the fourth and final course, my desert of choice was Lemon Cake with Lemon Sorbet. It was perfectly tart and was a great ending to a great meal. Overall I had a great excellent experience but I will say that all the rules I had to follow did stress me out a little. That being said, even though I never feel the need to return, I'm so glad I checked this spot off my bucket list. My inner child was full of joy that evening, basking in the ambiance that is the Disney institution.
