we have eaten here several times (but the last was). it was never cold. it is welcoming with friendly efficient staff and serves food from high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. everything is consistent. the quantities are good and the specificities are...especially good value (the usual menu is not expensive). there is no pretension. lower changes in the menu are done without fuss. highly recommended.
I went to this restaurant for some cocktails and I was impressed by the excellent service provided by Darryl, the bartender. Not only was he incredibly accommodating, but he also prepared special cocktails that were not on the menu. He was a delight to interact with and I will definitely be returning because of his exceptional service.
Staying in the canal court hotel and this bar was recommended, had a great laugh at the karaoke night! (Most of them hadn’t got a note in their head but that just made it a funnier night) delighted to see they sell sutter home rose...as it’s the only one I like. doormen aren’t the friendliest but overall a great night
I was looking for a good place to eat near the bus terminal and I found Cobbles to be the best option. The service was quick, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious (I tried their roast beef special...although the veggies could have been improved). The prices were very reasonable as well. I have ate in cobbles a good few times now, and the food is always delicious. The prices are very reasonable for a city the staff are always friendly and helpful. They also do loyalty cards for the food which I think is a...great idea. Would recommend to anyone in the Newry area to go for a meal!
actually we were in the middle of the day and fell on impulse. the level of service is good and eat excellent, prices fair. we are all vegetarian, and the veggie curry was really delicious. we also asked for some changes that were not on the menu. all came exactly as we wanted
My husband and I called into Cobbles this afternoon for our tea. We both had steak, and we both really enjoyed it. Steak was very tasty. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back soon.
The doormen need to learn how to speak to paying customers. Especially the big foreign lad. An absolute disgrace the way he speaks to people. Réservez une table maintenant
