Unfortunately, the restaurant does not have a cozy atmosphere. The menu is quite limited, and many of the ingredients we wanted were unavailable that evening. There was just one young man managing the entire restaurant along with the chef. While a kind and friendly young woman provided service, the chef was rather arrogant and harsh. The seven of us dining together shared the same opinion and agreed that we would not return.
Finding a parking space was quite challenging. The prices of the dishes are quite high considering the quality offered. While the food was good, the rest of the experience was just average. Asking for a credit card when making a reservation seemed unnecessary for a restaurant that wasn't busy and doesn't qualify as fine dining. They should also work on improving the overall appearance and cleanliness of the establishment.

The restaurant is quite small. We visited on a Saturday night at 7:00 PM and noticed that only one other table was occupied. The food was decent; the pork belly was cooked well, but it was overshadowed by the passion fruit sauce they used. they didn't have many items available on the menu. Besides the waiter they didn't have a proper service, I understand that for not having a good training on the menu. At the time of my dish the chicken breast was dry and the pumpkin rissotto had a bitter taste like a burn.
We tried this place because the pictures looked great. Food presentation is on point but it was lacking quality, flavor, and a lot of plates weren’t available. Service was really poor and slow. It seems they are starting out or that they haven’t hire personnel.
I love Cocina 1401! My boyfriend and I visit regularly and the food is always delicious. The ambiance is perfect for date nights and the drinks are amazing : Also the breakfast pizza on their brunch menu is to die for

Wine list can use a little help. Food was good and employees were corteous and kind.
