Always an incredible experience! This place serves the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Be sure to request the breadcrumb coating—it’s wonderfully crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside, and haddock is my favorite (though cod is fantastic too). The staff is friendly, and the service is exceptional and quick, even during busy times, which is most of the time. We always eat at the small café they have. It's a must-try. Enjoy your meal!

I decided to try the gluten-free fish and chips after hearing positive reviews on Facebook. The batter is also dairy-free, which made it the first time I could enjoy fish and chips without any issues afterward. However, I noticed that the staff did not provide separate utensils or fryers to prevent cross-contamination. I highly recommend ordering in advance if you don't want to wait, as the meals are cooked fresh to order.

After reading some of the negative reviews about this restaurant, I can only conclude that they may reflect the limited understanding of certain individuals who enjoy Fish and Chips (I'm afraid I include myself in that group). One only needs to consider their command of the English language to seriously question their ability to form a valid culinary opinion, let alone articulate a subjective thought coherently.

While staying in the area, I needed a takeaway and was thrilled to discover this fish and chip shop. The food was excellent and not greasy at all. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again! Réservez une table maintenant

Always tempted to get fish and chips every time I pass by. Very difficult to resist as I always enjoy what I get. Good choice on their menu, with smaller portions and specials for pensioners and children. Lovely staff. Totally recommended.

After hearing through Facebook that gluten-free fish and chips were now available, I decided to give them a try. The staff was fantastic! The slight wait for my order was definitely worth it. The food was delicious!

Delicious and consistently good. I highly recommend it. While making fish and chips shouldn't be too challenging, many takeaways unfortunately miss the mark. Cockerton Fisheries really delivers some of the best.
