The food was great! The service was very poor First we waited about 15 minutes until one of the ladies found time to serve us after her soup. We don't charge guests who are eating! The cockpit we know was once upon a time. A pity. If you would rather be served by a friendly service employee, you would not be able to choose. But as a guest I have to feel uncomfortable and badly treated. It's a shame that you always have to look at who works where in order to make a decision.
Great airfield with interesting flight movements. Always exciting to watch. My call to make a reservation was answered very friendly. The reception in the restaurant was also extremely friendly. The food came quickly and was prepared with love and very tasty. Requests for changes were no problem at all for an additional charge. Despite it being busy, the staff was extremely friendly. The Birrfeld restaurant is always worth a visit.
I come here quite a lot and have never been disappointed. When the weather is nice, the restaurant attracts quite a crowd with families visiting the airport and the playground. Even then, service is fast and reliable. The food is good, there's about 3 or so day specials at lunch but you can order anything from the full menu too.
Reheated hash browns a disappointment! Until a few years ago, Cockpit was one of my favorite restaurants. I especially loved the Leberli with Rösti. It has now happened twice in a row that I have been served warmed up, limp and dry Rösti (possibly still in the microwave Réservez une table maintenant
We are here relatively often on the beautiful terrace after the dog walk. There is always something going on during flight operations
The food was good, people friendly and priceless view at the airport. Will come again and I am recomending it...
In self-service, a beer 3.3 dl CHF 5.20 was simply overrun...it was the last time...
