we were in cocoon last Saturday. what is offered here is unfortunately only disappointing. the smoky beef steak had a rubber-like consistency and the taste of the Thai curry court ordered by my man compared to that of an ordinary delivery service court - therefore in a ratio to a very high price more than inadequate!!The service staff was not attentive enough (after taking up our drinks orders we had to sayful 30min to wait for two (!) beverages, also need to be worked on the difficult to understand). For my man and me - as already mentioned - very disappointing, since our very high expectations to the cocoon restaurant in bamberg were unfortunately not fulfilled in the least. it is too bad...
were recently there on the way back from the ski holiday. even if everything is still quite new, you will be surprised by the pleasant ambiente. here was built something that should have existed for longer.The service was overall friendly and quick, even if this was later left a little behind with quite many guests.As a start we shared the cocoon special roll, as a main dish there was smoky sake and pho. everything was very nicely dressed and has tasted us wonderfully. the baked sushi were perfectly cooked, as was the laugh at the smoky sake. the pho suppe was perfect and could be refined with the supplements according to their own taste. I would also like to report on my culinary experiences, alone, as far as I did not. a lasy evening, a few free tables in the garden, you can settle down and wait. very busy services whistle by, finally, after long 10 minutes, someone comes without a menu, but with the question of a reservation, we had no. a note that no corresponding drawing was on the table, was answered with a lapidaren "that we do not". no alternative, no effort to make something possible for the customer, especially friendly it did not come over. we all had an appetizer and mains. it was tasteful ok, but definitiw far away from excellent. also the quantities were sufficient, but for the prices were clear. There are far better alternatives here. Moreover, the services were very inattentive (we sat at the end with empty drinks there for half an hour, got the wrong water at the beginning, waited for about 15 minutes for the right, which was half frozen) all in all: not again.

Compared with other restaurants in bamberg good and creative selection of veggie-sushi. after the hype ums cocoon we were there to convince ourselves of the super quality. unfortunately followed the frightening fast. eating was ok, but not the expected "fine cuisine" as advertised. relatiw greasy and insufficient, so rather direction mass-produced. very bad, would have really wanted me an Asian jewel that simply stands out from other locals.
when the windows are open in the summer, you feel as if you sit on the crossing, very unpleasant. the service was unfriendly, the reservation policy absurd: numerous tables were kept free for later registered guests and spontaneously passing guests who had long since eaten by then. the food was good (salat with bark meat.)
because of the traffic situation of this retaurants we decided to have a table in the local. the menu offers extensive Asian food. these were served perfectly and enjoyed our palate. well maintained ambiente and attentive, friendly service rounded off the beautiful evening.

in great and very good! service was very fast and attentive. the sushi was excellent! unfortunately a bit expensive when compared to the other sushi restaurants in bamberg! a lot of choice and extra wishes are implemented immediately! we're coming back!
