I can't give this place any higher than 4 out of 5 star review. I ordered medium combo pizza, garlic knots and Caesar salad. To my surprise, they charged over 3 for a small portion of anchovies and 7 for Caesar salad. For 7.00 I would expect would be more but instead it looked like 4 Romaine lettuce blades chopped, croutons and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese with a small container of Caesar salad dressing. Don't get me wrong, their pizza was DELISH and that I completely support the mom pop businesses but I don't support business that charge every grain of salt used in a dish. If I do go back to this pizza joint, it will be ONLY for pizza. I give 5 stars to businesses that provide exceptional...
Take it from a native New Yorker, this is the most authentic NY-style pizza I have found outside of the tri-state area. Used to like ASONY until I discovered this place. Chewy yet crispy thin crust, not hard or cracker-y or too bread-y. The flavor, texture, and consistency of the sauce and cheese are just right too. My favorite is the owner's favorite, cheese and fresh tomatoes. The margherita is good, too, though a bit messy. My only complaint is that I used to come here for late night munchies but ever since they started sometimes closing before their posted closing hours, I just pivoted to other late night options after getting burned a couple times. This restaurant offers a casual atmosphere but serves delicious food! The steak calzone was just as excellent as I remembered, and it was a surprisingly large portion. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his cheese steak. We were pleasantly surprised to find they offer pizza by the slice, a rarity these days. The pizza is always perfect and never disappoints at this restaurant. They always provide the best service without needing to be asked. They are efficient and know what they are doing. It is a great choice for takeout, with small standing tables available if you choose to dine in. While it is not a full service establishment, they always welcome those who choose to eat in. I highly recommend the pizza and cannoli.
We got this pizza delivered by DoorDash to our hotel before the Ed Sheeran Stadium show because we were public transportation'ing it and didn't feel like finding a restaurant near the hotel. Sooooo glad that happened. This pizza was some of the best pizza I've had in a while. They've nailed it on the NY style pizza. Got the All Meat pizza and it was perfect.
The pizza here was not good. It was on par with Costco pizza. Tastes like cardboard, just thinner and greasier than Costco pizza. Definitely did not taste anything close to New York pizza. Garlic knots were just ok, just bread and garlic. It was missing something. Parmesan? Salt? I wouldn't order it again. Prices also went up, and cash only.
