Staff were really nice and friendly, however, £4.50 for a bacon buttie that was actually just two pieces of normal sliced bread from a supermarket packet. The air within the shop was thick with the smell of burnt cooking with no apparent extractor. My clothes did smell of cooking when we left. My steaming hot latte was served to me in a glass jar with no handles. Unfortunately I had to wait to drink it as I couldn't pick it up. A novel approach but something with a handle would be better. Sitting on a bench in the window was awkward as the condensation on the glass made my back and clothes wet. Would I go again ? I don't think so......
I took my group of students from the Plumpton College Supported Internship course to Community Coffee today and here is the review that the students wrote as a group. The staff were friendly, motivated and had good customer service skills. Claire, who served us was always smiling. We ordered a selection of hot drinks and they were a good size and tasted delicious. Fair prices for organic products. The Cafe had a pleasant atmosphere and provides a great opportunity to meet others from the community. We would love to visit again
