I visited this restaurant during a quiet time, with only two other customers waiting for their orders. I ordered two egg sandwiches and was informed that it would take about 20 minutes. That seemed a bit unusual, but the positive reviews convinced me to wait. However, after about 30 minutes, we noticed that orders placed after ours were being delivered, so we inquired with the food runner, who dismissed us. After 40 minutes, we asked again, and she snapped at us. Frustrated, we requested a refund. The man at the counter said our sandwiches would be ready in just 2-4 minutes and kindly offered us a free item. Compton's is a fantastic place for takeout and delivery in Astoria, Queens. The service is quick, friendly, and the food is delicious. My top two sandwich choices are the Sticky Tender Hero and the BLT with Slaw (but I prefer it without the slaw). The Sexy Batch cookies are also amazing!

This place is fantastic! The portions are generous, which is essential in today's economy. The food is delicious overall. The Corn Bite Fritters were slightly overcooked, but still enjoyable. The Burrata BLT was massive and extremely tasty! Highly recommend! Réservez une table maintenant

The food was exceptional! The Grilled Chicken Burrata Club was bursting with flavor. The mozzarella sticks were cooked to perfection and stayed crispy even after delivery! The vodka sauce was fantastic, too. I can’t wait to order from here again soon.
