Having had two positive experiences here, it was a tad disappointing to find the meal was variable in quality and value for money on this last occasion .I ordered the 'special ' bao buns ,expecting a lovely homemade generous portion only to be presented with two commercially available ? Itsu buns with a small garnish costing a small fortune, so a very hefty profit involved .The garlic mushrooms were incredibly salty and oily -unpleasant . When you ask a table how they are finding the meal ,you should be trained sufficiently to be able to respond appropriately to criticism -this was not the case here .We were given the equivalent of a shrug of the shoulder and no attempt was made to apologise...
Wonderful food with great choice of dish. First time visit and would visit again when in area. Well worth a visit. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not a good value for the money. While the overall experience was pleasant and the staff was friendly, the quality of the food did not justify the high prices. I do not plan on returning.
