Very disappointing service today, I still can’t believe it. Walked in from my TKD class with a colleague as I’d been ill during the week and was recuperating so decided on a nice meal to feel better. 1. Seated at a table with leftover crumbs, only one little bread loaf served. No request for 2 mini bread loaves. 2. Ordered drinks, took 20 min. 3. Bottled water served already opened out of view in a glass with the rest of the water in a closed bottle. Ordered starters and requested for more bread, took another 45 minutes. 4. Colleague ordered main dish but I wasn’t ready. 5. Our server Jojo disappeared again for a long time. Nobody checked in on us. Asked another server for help with ordering...
The service was good being greeted with a smile and making sure we got our orders and wine. The food quality was terrible. I got the chef recommended Calabrian Shrimp which states creamy tomato broth, which was nothing more than red colored soup as it was watery with absolutely no flavoring at all. Basically the dish came as shrimp and veggies in a bowl of colored water. My husband got the Asian Chicken Salad which wasn't the same at all like the last time he was served this dish. The chicken wasn't cooked the same and was sooooo salty that it was unedible so after eating one the rest was left on the plate. We visited this restaurant for happy hour, but unfortunately, there was nothing happy about it. The selection was limited, and the prices were the same as usual. The bacon-wrapped shrimp was served cold, and the crispy spring roll was just average. The champagne cocktail was nothing special either. Overall, it felt quite overpriced. We decided to order dessert at full price; I had the crème brûlée, which was quite good. The service was excellent, and our server even offered us some free wine to taste, but I wasn't a fan of their wine. The ambiance was nice as well. Given the mixed experience, I'm not sure if I'll return.
My wife and I came in, in June. Super great service! We always recommend the lobster bisque! If you do come in ask for Sean D. Really nice waiter very attentive and very personable. He knew the menu and gave very good recommendations on food and drinks. Overall our experience was great. Definitely recommend the restaurant for local people and people traveling to Richmond! Parking: Plenty of parking never had issues on finding a space.

Cooper's is always a treat for us! Their food is delicious with a great variety and plenty of options for every taste! They treat their wine club members very well and give us lots of ‘freebies” and incentives. The noise is a little more than we would like, but the service and food make up for it. We will keep going back!
As usual Cooper's Hawk in Short Pump was great. My only issue was, the hostess sat us in a section that didn't have a server. After waiting almost 15minutes another server came over to assist and find out what happened. A server was then assigned to our table and things went much smoother after that
Our waitress Keona J was exceptional! Everything was perfect so what a shock to find out it was just her 3rd day working at Cooper's! I sure hope she's there next time. Excellent service can make or break a gathering and our birthday celebration was one we'll remember for years!
The food and service was good. I did think it was a little overpriced but that seems to be the norm these days. Wouldn't recommend if you're celebrating something special as the noise level was off the charts.

Great service, staff was outstanding from hostess, wine sommelier to wait staff. Lovely time, good food, generous portions. Great value for wine members. Look forward to my next visit.
