What a great pub this is. Beautifully renovated but as lovely as the polished floor boards were the carpet is much better. Really cozy and friendly atmosphere and female friendly. A few bevy's and lets get a nibble. Sure the Ploughmans Platter wasn't cheap but it was magnificent and the quality of the produce was sensational and good size serving, couldn't finish it all even after grazing on it for quite a few hours and getting help from an extra ring in. The Cauliflower chips not a big serve but quite yummy and would order again. Cant wait to go back and have another afternoon like that again. Actually would be happy doing that each week. The owner and staff were rude during our visit to this restaurant. The chicken parmigiana we ordered was served cold because it was delivered to the wrong table and took 5 minutes to find us. No apologies were offered when we mentioned this issue. The cocktails we ordered were overpriced and poorly made, with incorrect ratios of ingredients in sticky glasses. The environment was unimpressive and lacked atmosphere, especially when compared to other amazing pubs in the classy section of Melbourne, such as Trunk Bar across the road. Overall, we do not see why people would choose to dine at this restaurant.
The manager/owner of this restaurant is incredibly rude. Despite having a running tab at the bar, the service was consistently rude with no smiles or thank yous from any of the staff. We arrived with around 25 people from a wedding party and requested music to be played for dancing, but the manager/owner showed no interest and even reprimanded someone for speaking to the staff. Once our bar tab was settled, we were promptly told to leave.
Went in here after seeing this on TripAdvisor as cheap eats thinking he beer would be cheaper as well but I was wrong for a pint anyway,I thought I'd try the local Cooper's brewery one , but it was $12 which to me is more mid range,but anyway that will learn me to ask first.but pub looked tidy plenty of TV's so good for sports not sure about food as beer scared me off.

Another Wednesday night means it's time for our regular after-work meetup at The Coppers Inn. There's plenty of parking available nearby. I absolutely love the T-bone steak and enjoying a Carlton from the tank! The staff here is extremely friendly, and the service is fantastic!
Had a post theatre ale. The bar area was basic with plastic seats and the table was sticky. Service was friendly and prices ok. The music was well selected but loud . We didn't stay for seconds as it was not conducive to quiet conversation. Rest rooms were also basic.
I visited this restaurant as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival to see a comedy show upstairs. The restaurant had multiple levels and a grungy atmosphere, creating a nice ambience. I only ordered a few drinks, but they were perfectly fine.
Way too noisy downstairs for a relaxed Tuesday night dinner. But upstairs was available, as long as you don't mind walking downstairs for drinks food orders.

Food tasted good but $24 for a quinoa salad with a bit of nuts and one avocado is pathetic. Probably costs them $4 to produce…
