We knew the hotel and the gourmet restaurant because we stayed there ten days a few years ago; now the chef has changed; we must say that we NEVER, not even in 3 star michelin restaurants, had a service as welcoming, friendly and inviting as this time. A sommelier that really knows his profession, an original way of serving (numerous kinds of) bread, butter and olive oil; nothing, but REALLY NOTHING can be faulted; a truly just simply wonderful experience; that together wit a beautiful and tasteful menu (they only have menus, not à la carte, but I am sure that if you came several days after each other they will find a solution) made this evening for us the most exquisite of the past years; no stiff attitude, but truely warm: in perfect English if necessary. At the end the director informs about your experience: it must be a wonderful job he has, hearing every evening again how his personnel created heaven for the clients; we are going back in december and january, already booked 8 dinners and they all will be top, I know it already!! Thank you so much for this exceptional dinnerexperience.
