My friend, a veteran and a big fan of Italian cuisine, wanted to try out a new restaurant. When we arrived, we waited several minutes to be acknowledged—yet we were clearly visible to the owner. I thought it was standard practice to wait to be seated, but after some time, the owner called out from behind the bar, telling us we could sit wherever we liked. The place seemed decent enough, though I felt a bit uneasy since there were no other customers at the time. Eventually, two more tables were filled....
Family owned place, authentic Roman food. We visited Rome 2 weeks before we ate there, and while not identical to Roman food, it's very close. Delicious warm bread, and seasoned oil and cannelloni beans to start. We had the artichokes (very good) and supploni (the rice was a bit soft but otherwise tasted very much like the suppli in Rome). We shared a special crab lobster ravioli with shrimp and blush sauce and it was delicious. But the star of the show was the tiramisu. This was our first time here and the food is absolutely awesome loved the risotto rolls and Alfredo we had the limoncello cake as desert so so good! we’ll definitely come back!!!!!! Absolutely incredible place. Roman taste, Philly grit, lovely owners. Core de Roma style Artichokes are sublime. Cacio e pepe and gricia pastas might have been very well be served in a Trastevere restaurant where Luigi is from. I can't believe it took me so long to discover this place. Will come back regularly. Great experience. Little hole in the wall Italian BYOB. Best bruschetta potentially ever. The service was excellent. Little slow with the bill, but they had a waiter out sick. The infinity mirrors in the bathroom were an extra fun bonus! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Good local place with good quality food. My only suggestion is look for a better source of bread. My wife’s entree was very good .
