I arrived at this Bar/Restaurant with high expectations. Unfortunately, they failed to live up to my expectations. As I entered there were very few customers, however, I kept an open mind.Initially the waiter was very friendly, however, the beers on tap were not beers I had heard of, apart from Asahi.Asahi was available, however, the happy hour discount was not available and I would be expected to pay $8 for a little over a pot size measure of this beer.I was very unhappy with the on tap beer selection. First thing, made a booking for Fathers day but once we arrived nothing was set up for us as they gave our table of 12 to a table of 3 people, Then we were offered a smaller table that wouldn't be sufficient. Then we had to move our own tables around to fit inside.Second, when placing our order we try to order a pasta was told sorry we are unable to make a pasta tonight as our cook is away (obviously they are unable to boil pasta).Unfortunately we did not enjoy our meals 1 was not up to standardI will admit that 1 of the staff members was trying to assist and their chips are good this review is mainly for a improvement is needed
I recently enjoyed a happy hour at The Corner Pocket Calounrda. I have dined there before and enjoyed the meals, but just recently discovered they have a happy hour from 4 to 6 for 6 days a week. The atmosphere is great with music, craft and local beers and excellent food. Its an easy walk from the CBD of Caloundra. There are ocean and beach views from the bar and dining area.
Weve been here in the past which was great, unfortunately last night wasn't.We found all staff to be rude they all seemed more interested in themselves the cars driving past.Definately wont be going back word of mouth is a big thing for restaurants!

Had the gumbo and my son had the English pork sausage and chips. Both very happy with the meals. Gumbo was awesome. Good atmosphere and service was great. Espresso martini cocktail was a decent price at $10. Definitely come back.
Delicious Gumbo. Kids went bangers and mash. Quick service. Funky music. Other meals on other tables looked good big serves. Smelt awesome! Isn't that enough? just trying to fill my 100 words now!
Spent a lazy late Sunday afternoon with friends for a few drinks (happy hour) and snacks. Great prices and friendly staff. Will visit again as meals looked encouraging.
I ordered the Brisket, normally a favorite food. Unfortunately very overpriced and a small serving. Food was tasty although a bit dry.
