We stumbled upon this friendly and welcoming café and community hub by chance and were drawn in by its inviting atmosphere. The sense of belonging and purpose that it exuded was truly special and something we can all take a lesson from. The home-cooked food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were fantastic, and their interactions with us and other customers reminded me of happy holidays in Scotland from my childhood, where my relatives would laugh and joke with everyone they met. I love everything about this place. Every customer receives a cheerful smile from the owner as they enter the cafe. He made sure that all customers’ need are look after. The big breakfast is tasty. What a lovely cafe. It was busy when we were there with two large walking groups. But the voluntary staff coped admirably. I had a sandwich, lemon drizzle cake and 2 coffees and it was only £7. I was amazed. Will definitely be back Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Beware of the funny opening times of this cafe that they only post in the window! Read so many good reviews of it. There was ourselves, 5 of us plus two other couples who wasted a journey there.
