Cortez Seafood Cocktail

We felt invisible. We ordered five small dishes and cocktails. We asked about the cadence of how the food would come out to our table and the wait staff assured us it would be timed to give us time to enjoy each dish. Two dishes came out at once before we even received our beverages. A third dish arrived when we finally got our first beverages, and we had to tell them to slow it down when a fourth dish came out before we’d finished anything. We had no room on the table and they asked if they could take something away. It felt rushed. They didn’t offer to replace plates. They didn’t ask about second beverages—my husband went to the bar. The tables around us had no trouble—received plates without asking and beverages. Not sure what happened, but this was a complete miss for service. If it weren’t for the food being great, I would have either given it one star or not provided a review at all

There was a mix of reactions depending on the dish. For example, the ceviche was too bland but the Bulgogi broccoli was super tasteful. The drinks were also opposite in flavor and kick! The waitress was excellent but the kitchen was slow (and it was not too crowded on a Sunday night). We loved the outdoor space

Excellent service and food. Sat outside, but was loud with street traffic and band that was playing at bar across the street—took away from the overall experience. Regardless, I would go back and highly recommend to friends/family

Great food, especially the small plates which were good for sharing ! The cocktails were very good as well

Food is excellent! The tuna appetizer is amazing and the broccoli is one of the best sides I’ve ever had!
