Met with different friends on the same day but at different times. Love the coffee (got a huge latte for a regular size). It is quite a small eco building but great idea. The reason I have awarded it average rating was the fact it was really cold inside. Outside was about 3°c and inside wasn't much better.....my legs (in jeans) and feet (in boots) were freezing. So were my friends....we all stayed wrapped up in scarves and coats. Why wasn't there any heating on? Disappointing.
Been here a number of times over the years when in the area. Enjoy seeing the eco building. Staff always seem a little more friendly than in other branches. Enjoy the coffee and eats available. It was quite busy on this visit, but enough staff available to do the serving and clearing and cleaning of tables. Always a good sign for me. Quite easy to find a space and park here. But it can be a little slow getting out of the retail park. Always a busy area.
Situated on the Telford Wrekin Retail Park, this Costa Coffee does what all Costa Coffee branches does, namely serve consistent quality coffee, Its a good place when out on the road to call in for a drink. I have only one complaint. Costa Coffee provide newspapers for customers to read. Not this one!
Costa coffees first experimental environmental building I love it. Coffee is as ever but staff are great, management was always excellent after 10 months working abroad I stepped through the climate controlled doors and the barista remembered my order! The coffee and food at this restaurant are always top-notch, and the staff is consistently friendly just like we have come to expect from other Costa stores. This excellent service and delicious flavors are what continue to bring us back time and time again.
The taste of the food at Costa was as expected, but I was slightly disappointed with the cleanliness of the place when we arrived. The plates and cups were not cleared promptly, possibly due to the minimal staff on duty during our visit.
I am relieved to say that the heating was functioning properly this visit. The coffee was decent, but unfortunately, the outlet appears a bit worn despite being relatively new. In my opinion, Costa could benefit from a refresh.
