Costa D'Oro - Réserver une table

Came with our family of 8 for a meal on 20 August 2022. Whilst the rest of the family were fairly happy with their meals I was extremely disappointed. I mainly order risotto when I dine Italian as they usually make a flavoursome enjoyable meal....Unfortunately I cannot say my risotto was tasty or flavoursome. I ordered the vegetable risotto. Probably the worst risotto I have ever eaten. Not creamy. Not sure if there was butter or cheese in it. What really surprised me was the rice did not resemble Arborio rice at all. Looked more like long grain rice. As I said the rest of the family was happy with their meal so maybe the low rating is a little bit unfair. Would come back again but definitel...

Decor and seating area very dated. Food cheerful, large portions and thankfully fresh ingredients, however the menu is uninspiring. Staff are excellent, knowledgeable, helpful and happy to go the extra mile for you. Pricing above average for its pay grade, add in a...sneaky 10% weekend surcharge and your paying the same price as if going to a 4/5 star restaurant. Sneaky there are no signs or pre warnings about the surcharge until you get to the till to pay, it literally is a small note taped to the till.

We visited this restaurant and found it to be full of men. Initially, I was not impressed, thinking it was an overpriced tourist trap. However, a family member was really hungry so we decided to eat there anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and portions were generous. The drinks were also good and the staff were courteous and friendly. Overall, it is definitely worth a try!

The staff at this restaurant were friendly. They answered my questions and moved the outdoor tables to avoid the rain . They did ask if I wanted any sauces with the schnitzel. The veal schnitzel was very nice . Perhaps it could have had a...bit more vegetables but otherwise I can’t complain .

A little underwhelmed to be honest. Flavours were about 20 years behind, dried herb flavours in sauces. Very nice staff, large porions. Pizza was good.
