"This place has a small, but beautiful patio available for dinner. The evening was cool, the food delicious. The duck was the best I can remember ever having. The menu price of €31 for the four courses which included fromage, made this meal a bargain. Could not recommend it more."

We traveled to Blois as part of a two week trip, were there two nights. We stayed in the auberge both nights and had dinner there once. We wish we would have scheduled both nights at this restaurant because it was the best meal of our trip. We went to many fine dining choices, included Michelin star, mhistorically notable restaurants in Paris, but this was the best food, warmest atmosphere and most delightful hosts. We excited to return again in a few months and have already made dinner reservations for each of our nights in Blois! One of the pictures we took of our plates is now posted on the auberge's website so they must have liked it! Delicious food!

It was cool when we were here so we did not see the courtyard but dinner in the small dining area was very good with everyone really enjoying their food and company. We took the set menu and enjoyed all our food-it was perfectly prepared. The host made sure all were satisfied and spoke a few languages as needed. We would eat here again and recommend this restaurant. It was a more pleasant experience than the Michelin one star. We were there while many French families were on vacation. The children in the family group next to us were treated very well.

We arrived, by bike, to find ‘the hotel’ was closed until 5pm so had to fill time in, plus bikes, until the appointed hour: we wished we had known and would have been less disappointed. The hotelier, Thierry, was very good and the room was very pleasant. We couldn’t sample the food as it was Sunday so he wasn’t cooking but the kitchen looked impressive and was spotless. Breakfast was fine. The hotel was well placed and handy for all the eating establishments that were open.

We had the 34.50€ set meal and it was three courses of very good traditional french cookery. I had the Pâté d 'albertine with chicken livers to start with, fillet of sandre with cream of crustacean sauce for the main course, and a selection of cheese for the dessert course. Each dish was balanced and satisfying, and the food was cooked to a high standard. The service was friendly and comfortable. Overall it was a good standard, and what you expect from a Logie in France.
