The service was very poor. The staff was in a hurry to close the restaurant.We wanted more than one chicken but the staff told us it might take 20 mins. It was 9:15 and we said it would be fine if it takes 20 mins. Later they said they can only serve one chicken and not more.After we received the food, the wait staff kept coming to us mentioning that the restaurant will close at 10 and also came to us and said we only had one minute. If the food is served after 9:35 for 7 people, how do you expect to finish the food at sharp 10? What do we do with the food which we haven't eaten?I've worked and visited many restaurants but the restaurant closes after people have eaten the food. I understand the kitchen closes at 9:30 and it makes sense. But coming and saying we only have 1 minute to finish are food is rude.I am a regular at camperdown as it is the closest nando's to my place, but looks like I will have to find a new one.
We came into the restaurant at 9.15 and ordered our food and got the food served at around 9.35 pm. The server came to us multiple times a minute before 10 pm and at 10 pm saying that he’s sorry and they’re closing at 10 pm. A couple of us were still eating and had some food left on the table, however, the servers were just in a hurry and wanted us to leave immediately. Did not feel warm and welcomed at the restaurant at all.
We received the order at 9:35 and we were still eating our food and staff came and asked us to leave exactly 10. We still have half of our food left. We also were standing outside Nandos in parking 15-20 minutes after we left. He still didn’t touched our table to clean and he had whole restaurant to clean still he asked us twice at 10 to leave the restaurant.
