I’ll fight the person that has given this place 1 or 2 stars because this place is the definition of culinary excellence! I’m not even talking about the cupcakes I’m sure they're good but they’re just the cherry on top. You gotta try their breakfast items! The flavor, the quality ingredients, the freshness and consistency of the food every single time is just unreal! I truly love coming here for a late wknd breakfast. I usually get their Chilaquiles Verde and a side of short stack pancakes! I’m telling you that this place is the truth when it comes to exceptional customer service, and food taste! Do yourself a favor skip your traditional breakfast and brunch spots. This is the one.
Wow! I stumbled upon Courageous Elmhurst yesterday, and was pleased with how many delicious sounding options they had on the menu. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich on multi grain bread, and it was very tasty! It came with tomato, onion, and greens, and I had it with a side of home fries (and a pickle comes with the sandwich). Prices were very reasonable (about $13 for what I ordered) and there are quite a few drink options also. Friendly service, and FAST too the cook started making my sandwich within seconds of me ordering it! I'll be back before too long!
Every time I order from this restaurant I always have issues receiving the wrong items or missing items. The employees working there really need to pay attention. My order had my name on it, but it wasn’t my order it was something completely different. I emailed the manager and they did reply fairly quickly and stated I was going to be refunded but it’s been over 10 days and no refund has been issued to me... I would suggest Egg Harbor Cafe that’s close by they always get my order right and they have a lot more items on their menu.
We’ve had great experience at Courageous Bakery! The food has been great when we’ve gone there for breakfast. We also had had my sister’s bridal shower there and they were great to work with. Annie, the manager, helped us customize a menu and checked in on us leading up to the event. She and the staff were ready to help us with decorations during set up, and were extremely accommodating during the event. I highly recommend them for meal or event!

Great cafe! Met up with friends that we haven 't seen in a year and this was a perfect mid-point! The ambience, food, staff, and price was on point. When we went up to the cupcake showcase, we talked to one of the staff and he was very friendly and personable. I didn 't even know this place competed in Cupcake Wars so that was a huge surprise and a bonus, so we bought 4 cupcakes to go and they were delicious! Highly recommend this place!
OMG my husband and I both had the Breakfast Burrito today. I initially posted to my FB account that it was the best Breakfast Burrito ever. Edited to say it was the best tasting breakfast we have ever had. Truly hands down. And we eat out breakfast a lot!! Cannot WAIT to go back and try other menu items. Such cute ambiance and an inspiring story as well. 5 stars are not enough!!
Such a cute little breakfast place (they serve lunch too)! I've gone a few times and the service is fantastic! All the people there are welcoming and the food is great! The breakfast tacos are definitely my favorite and an easy go to goe breakfast or brunch! The atmosphere is super cute too and perfect for families or guest of any age!
Yummy desserts. Ordered the last chocolate chip cookie and glad we did the sweet and salty combo was delicious. Kids loved the donuts!! Looking forward to trying some cupcakes next time. Those are delicious flavor combinations. Highly recommend this beautiful bakery. Service was excellent

1st time here for breakfast! I ordered the omelet, and it had turkey, cheese, and sweet peppers. It came with potatoes. My husband got the biscuits and gravy he loved the flavor.
