What an amazing tavern , live music and the biggest and best wine selection with a boutique bottle shop attached where you buy a bottle of your liking and pay a $7 corkage , so always guarantees you get a fantastic bottle of wine for your price point. Food is 4 star and fair for the area and have never had a bad meal here . The staff are very friendly , there is a sports bar attached and lots of outdoor seating with covered tables to enjoy the view and the live music on weekends. We often go here for drinks and appreciate the service and atmosphere. However, last week we brought a friend from out of town for dinner, and it turned out to be a disappointing and overpriced experience. The steak sandwich was quite small, although the chips were excellent. The rump steak was cooked well, but the chilli linguine with prawns fell flat. There was no hint of chilli or herb flavor, and it was overloaded with passata and poorly presented. No Parmesan was offered, nor a spoon, and no one came by to check if our meals were satisfactory. I raised my concerns after the meal but received no response. Given the numerous dining options in the area, we won’t be returning.
Great location Professional staff and management. We held a gathering here of family and friends, after another local restaurant reneged on our booking. They dedicated space for us and walked me through ordering the wine, food and setting up the bar tab. All staff went above and beyond in service. We are truly grateful. They were also very careful with the custom cake that was delivered directly to the Tavern. Thanks to everyone for helping us to save this event and your very attentive service. 10 STARS Parking: There are 2 large parking lots very close. Kid-friendliness: There is a quad area right in front for kids to play.
This is a charming casual sports bar with generous meal portions. It's an excellent spot for enjoying a beer and a burger. When we visited, we saw a diverse crowd, from families with children to guests celebrating a 60th birthday. The bar overlooks a grassy area and offers partial views of the marina. Definitely worth a visit, and the staff is very friendly.

Why did they transform this into a bland Cellarbrations? It feels completely out of place in Sanctuary Cove. Atmosphere: 1 out of 5.
