They did not turn on the air conditioning on Father's Day when it was 96 degrees outside. My sisters and I were not able to enjoy our meal due to the heat and sweating. The employees informed us that the owners do not turn on the AC in order to save on costs. None of the employees seemed happy and were constantly working in the warm environment. Because of this negative experience, I will not be returning to Cowboy Jack's in New Brighton, MN. It was my first time at this location and it was a disappointing experience.
The food was good, but the restaurant lacked air conditioning or any ventilation. It was actually cooler outside in the sun than inside the restaurant. The temperature outside was around 90 degrees Fahrenheit, making it quite hot inside. Customers were sweating at their tables. It would be beneficial to turn on the air conditioning.
Ordered a Rueben, the corned beef was tough and only had 3 very thin slices on the sandwich. Served on white toasted bread when the menu clearly stated marble rye. Won't be back !
Clean looking. Spacious interior, good seating. Bar food was good and waitress was helpful and friendly. Only place nearby that was open at 9pm On Tuesday .

We think CJ's is a fantastic restaurant to visit. They offer quality food, excellent service, and a decent variety of beers. What more could you ask for?
if I gave a zero. I sat almost 10 minutes and went into the bar before waiting for 10 minutes to be welcomed. bartender got my zider.
Food was ok, had the French Dip and it wasn't anything spectacular. Staff was very friendly
Great outdoor patio and friendly staff. Appreciated meeting some old friends.
