Hello, I’m having a hard time figuring out what score to give this place. It definitely isn’t a four, but it’s not bad enough to be a three. Anyways, I went here yesterday with some friends for breakfast and I ordered a caramel latte and cream cheese stuffed pancakes for myself. We also ordered biscuits. My friends selections are in the video below. While the pancakes were delicious, the caramel latte was not. It tasted like a coffee with cream and sugar with whipped cream on top and I only tasted the caramel in one sip. Just one. Is it true that this is the first time I’ve had a latte? I had a pleasant experience during my recent visit on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, and the service was quite good. However, my previous visit on October 1st, 2023, for a takeout order was less than satisfactory. An older female staff member approached me at the reception desk and asked for my order. When I mentioned that I was there for a takeout order, she simply walked away and stood by the fireplace, completely ignoring me. Eventually, another receptionist helped by getting someone to take my order after I had to remind them. Fortunately, once my order was being processed, both the staff at the reception and the cashiers were very prompt in attending to my request.
I can only give this restaurant a mediocre rating since we were unable to go inside. It turns out a water line had burst in the town, which meant they couldn't let any new customers in until the issue was resolved. Some patrons chose to wait, but the majority of us, including myself, opted to leave and find another place to eat since we weren't sure how long the wait would be.
The food was delicious, and the service was satisfactory. The meals offered good value for the price. Overall, I dined in for lunch and spent about $10–20 per person. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere also a 4. I highly recommend trying the Country Fried Steak! Réservez une table maintenant
We had a great home cooked meal in the middle of a long drive. It was nice to be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy our food. Kid-friendliness: The waitress was very kind and helpful with the kids. She answered their questions and brought them crayons. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
