Arrived at Rock Hill Cracker Barrel at about 7:45pm on 5/09/2022. I asked st register about placing a go go order. That person said they didn’t do it but to check with hostess. When I asked her, she referred back to original person if they took the order. He said he didn’t. I felt like I wasn’t supposed to be there. Finally hostess brought out a waitress who stood there while the hostess took my order. Then told me it would be about 25 minutes. Okay….So, paid and picked up food. Took back to hotel room. No butter for biscuits. No utensils for eating. Wasn’t able to go back. Ate without the butter. Had utensils in my car. Green beans looked like they were scraped from bottom of pan. Not appealing at all. Not pleased. This was store #CB0160. Server 1820887. Cashier #1940874. Order #185946.
We sat for over an hour waiting for our food with no explanation. I understand that everyone is short staffed but we were completely ignored and people who sat down long after us were getting their food. It didn’t help that we had a 1 year old who was frustrated and crying because he was bored and hungry. It’s not the wait that irked us, it’s that our waitress completely ignored us. We eventually left without ever getting our food.
Incredible slow with only 5 families in the entire building, food was like ice, the biscuits were cold canned biscuits, bacon was raw, asked for apple juice got orange, burnt my daughters pancakes to the fact they crunched when she bit into them, eggs were suppose to be fried and were barely cooked. Nasty and will definitely not be back.
I went to this cracker barrel with my father for birthday dinner. As always, the food was excellent and the service was great. The maple bacon chicken was very tasteful; as well as the potatoes. My father said the Bratbeef was also very tender. All in all, a great experience and a wonderful meal.
