Cracker Barrel just isn't what it used to be. There seems to be a leadership problem, as the quality is consistently lacking across all locations. They appear to be trying to create a country atmosphere, but it feels inauthentic. For instance, they don’t offer Thousand Island dressing, a favorite among many true country folks, and the new menu items seem more targeted at urban food enthusiasts than a rural audience. Their pretentiousness is almost offensive. We plan to use our gift cards and treat the staff well, hoping for improvement. If things don’t change, we won't be coming back. It’s disheartening, as I once really enjoyed this place. I give it a 1 for atmosphere, mainly due to the pre...

I really hate saying that I like the food here because Cracker Barrel has a long history of not liking gay people, much less the other minorities of this world. Regardless, I lowered my requirements so that a cherished colleague could have some much needed comfort food. She had the apple chicken something, and she licked the plate. I had the chicken pot pie, which was the daily special, and I was also nose deep in the bowl. BTW, could they get the tea any sweeter? Yum! I'd like to say I'll be back soon, but I won't, not until the parent corp takes it's place among the responsible companies of this world. Until then, they will muddle along without my pink dollars.
We arrived at 9:30 AM, and the place was already quite busy. We were informed that the estimated wait time would be about an hour due to a staff shortage. We chose to wait, but it ended up being almost an hour and a half before we were seated, which we had anticipated. The hostesses were patient and worked diligently, so it wasn't an issue. Once we were seated, both the food and service were excellent, and we were pleased that we decided to wait. Although it was a long wait, it was definitely worth it.
It was incredibly busy for a Friday afternoon, almost like a Saturday with all the hustle and bustle. The restaurant is a charming little spot, and we were seated after a brief five-minute wait. Our waitress appeared to be a bit overwhelmed and forgot a few items, but we received our food promptly. This was my first time trying their lunch menu, and I was pleased with the generous portions of chicken, fried okra, and mashed potatoes, all of which were delicious. Réservez une table maintenant
The waitress, Shay, was fantastic! It was extremely busy when we arrived, but we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. This place has all the classic Cracker Barrel charm, with plenty of great items to browse and delicious country food. The staff was excellent, and the food was tasty. I would definitely return!
The waitress Shay was amazing!!!! It was crazy busy when we first got there ebut we weren't waiting longer then 10 minutes to get our seat. It's your typical Cracker Barrel, lots of great items to buy and good old country food. The staff was wonderfuland food was good. Would definitely go back!
So much food. You get so much food here. Every dinner comes in a gigantic portion with three sides and biscuits. And it's cheap. Love the fried catfish, the chicken n' dumplings, the sugar-cured ham, the country-fried steak, the grilled pork chop... and so much more.
The new shepherd's pie was excellent! I can't wait to try the new ribs entrée on my next visit. Our server, Kenneth, was extremely helpful and attentive; we will definitely ask for him again next time! Réservez une table maintenant
A cold winter's morning, Cracker Barrel fireside table, biscuits and jelly, pancakes and warm syrup, a slice of bacon a hot cup of coffee. Now that's pretty close to heaven!
This restaurant is consistently one of my favorites, no matter what we order. I also really enjoy the well-stocked and beautifully organized displays in the gift shop!
