my man and I ordered the chicken pliers dinner. I also ordered an salad. it's over to ask my salad. she forgot. Usually they bring cookies or maisbrot to the table while you had wait for them to ask, then when the waitress brought us our food they said, would be fries coming soon, we waited and waited, saw other tables foods brought out with their fries, our never came. the cookies were raw and looked like they had been saved from valuable tables, so they looked like they had been eaten. salat had bacon bits, but were a fatball and cold. the mac n cheese was like water with blackware in it. the chicken pliers driped with fat and were so gum-like that they could not even tear them much less....
there were three hours waiting in the regular for table, service and eating. the order was partly wrong, and we were charged for all wrong objects. the waitress was friendly and quiet, despite the chaos and the dirty, unclear tables around us. the main problem was the bill. we ordered the lunch menu, but were placed in bill. we have also been extra calculated for each page due to the confusing layout of the menu. they were not listed on the same page as lunch article, so we thought that the pages on the midday side were the ones we choose. it turned out, not, but instead only to reimburse us $3.19 for confusion, they turned it into a great tortur. calls via manager and create massive line in...
Went for lunch on Monday, Labor Day. Stepped in at 1 pm and wasn 't seated until 2pm. Not surprising as it was a holiday. What was a surprise was that they were out of half the menu items. Server explained to us that they , management I presume, were not ready for the holiday weekend. I 've heard this most of my visits to this particular restaurant. I keep trying and it 's the same story every time. Anyways, what menu items that were available took another hour to deliver to our table. Not all at once either. Usually Cracker Barrel is a place your family can go and everyone can find something they like.... except they were out of pot roast, hash brown casserole and one other item no one in our party had planned to order whatever it was). One person ordered pinto beans.....we think they were soured..... something was definitely off.... green beans were substituted and they were ok. I know you can have an off day...but what bothers me is the table behind us sent one of their items back too. Hopefully this will be handled and improved. We expected a long wait because it was Easter, but to our surprise, we were greeted at the front door and informed that our table would be ready in 20 minutes. It was a pleasant experience, and soon it was our turn to be seated. The meal was fantastic! We enjoyed some delicious baked yams topped with pecans and a sweet sauce, along with country-fried steak covered in white gravy. The ribeye dinner was excellent, though it might not satisfy a very hungry person. Our waitress was also great, and we made sure to tip her 20%.
great service at the weekend! but not so great on Thursday. I've waited long before our food is served. my drink glass smells like dog sweat. he was ignored by waiter and not to mention the burnt stiff pancakes and speck, later realized that it was probably warmed over. but as I said a great service at the weekends with beautiful fresh, fluffy pancakes!
tokuits that we are good. the trout of my man was good. my ham was thick and chewing. the service was not great at all. I'll wait fast. 15 minutes later she remembered that she didn't bring our drinks....now the cookies aren't so hot. after we lost our food server. no beverage refills....no check if we need anything.
Love the food, service, atmosphere, the store connection, the characteristic interior and exterior of the place. I had breakfast and dinner here before, love them both. I came here when it was slow and I came here when it was busy, same great service both time frame. Réservez une table maintenant
