Five star for view, atmosphere and the FABULOUS FOOD. I had the fried oysters and a salad- they were the BEST EVER! My aunt had the Beef Beach, she ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. That being said we had the most unfriendly and rude server EVER! Never spoke to us except to ask what we wanted to drink and eat. No “ how’s your food” “ need a refill” “need anything” no “ Your welcome” “my pleasure” no ANYTHING! I asked for a straw and you would have thought I asked for the world on a platter! He rolled his eyes and walked off. Brought the straw back with the next tables food, tossed it on the table and left. So sad our workforce has come to this. Customer service should definitely be taught in all service...
I don’t normally leave less than 5 star reviews (I am not a Karen lol) My husband and I were so excited to finally eat here for our anniversary. We get there and were sat very quickly, it’s also beautiful inside. Our waiter comes, doesn’t tell us ANY specials and quickly takes our order. The food was pretty good. At the end, he asks us if we’re doing one check or two… I’ve never been asked this before and it was just really weird to be asked on our 13th wedding anniversary. Maybe he was having an off day, idk. Our experience was kinda disappointing because of the service but the food and atmosphere were really nice. I think we’ll definitely try again.
We have been dining at Chimneys since its original location, which we found in 1990. We have visited numerous times because the food is always amazing and fabulous. We recently went for brunch on Sunday and everything was delicious, as usual. Our server, Eric, did a great job even though we were a bit confused. Despite the 90-minute drive, it is always worth it. Special thanks to Sophie and Watson for maintaining the tradition!
My husband planned a day trip just to try this place and we sat on the front porch overlooking the beach. The view was amazing. Our waiter did a great job but the food was very disappointing. I ordered the stuffed flounder and it was very bland, my husband had the grilled tuna steak. For the price I would not return because there was nothing we had off the menu I would want to order again. Réservez une table maintenant
Took four clients here for lunch and sat on front porch. All of us thought the food was exceptional and we all had something different. Highly recommend the triple tail when they have it on special. Service was great and Porch was a great breezy shady place to enjoy. Highly recommend this place for any occasion.
