Went there on a Saturday to meet friends. Were told that they don't do bookings.Walked in and got a seat with the friendly waitress ushering us in. Our friends came late. We were not rushed to get out.Ordered interesting things on the menu like alpaca kofta, kangaroo prosciutto, emu dumpings and some normal things like chicken parma and onion rings.Overall a good atmosphere, a bit noisy though.
I went to this restaurant with a group of 8 people. Three of us ordered the steak medium rare, but 2 of them came out well done. Unfortunately, they were out of croquettes as a starter, and when my friend wanted to order the pie, they were also out of that. The beer was delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive. They also let us split the bills, which was a nice change!
had the salt & pepper dusted calamari & salad (can't remember the name of it, started with C) was huge but very delish. My mum ordered the ploughmans platter, wasn't what we were expecting (8 slices of bread!) & far too much food for one person. Would have been better to recommend two people+ share it. Pepsi max used in my jack & coke was flat
Visited a couple of times at lunchtime. Bar has a spacious feel to it and the window seats are a good place to watch the world go by. You can see the brewery tuns in the front area. The staff are all very welcoming/engaging.Great relaxing venue. Réservez une table maintenant
The portion sizes of the food were a bit small, especially the mashed potatoes that came with the chicken pie. However, the service from the wait staff was exceptional. Thank you!
Better pub food than expected and the parmas are huge. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered, definitely coming back! The drink selection was good and had chill vibes
Decent portions for breakfast and really good coffee. Six of us were accommodated without booking and managed to sit and eat comfortably. Portion sizes were good.
The service and staff were fantastic, food was exceptionally good and the beers delicious as always, I would definitely go back heaps more times. Réservez une table maintenant
Food was very ordinary. Had a tasteless calamari salad for $26 I think. Staff were terrific and the place is nice. Wouldn’t bother going back tho
