Just dropped in here for my first time and OMG am I blown away. Got the regular Bart Simpson from the Cravin ' on a budget menu . Not only was it amazing, but HOLY COW has it become hard to find food that 's both good and filling when funds and time are tight. This hit every mark for me. Best of all, they throw our local students some love with Meatless Mondays , I believe it was something like 15% off of veg items. Whatever the case, this isn 't just a really goodrestaurant with good people and good food. This is a legitimate RESOURCE our community needs. Crave Subs is an absolutely wonderful spot. The menu is fully halal with plenty of fantastic choices. Service is quick, and prices are very reasonable, which explains its popularity with students. I tried the Korean fried chicken sub, and even the half portion was quite large. The Korean sauce it was coated in was delicious, and the chicken was very fresh. I also ordered the curly fries, and the half serving was enough for two people. Great value for money overall. I’m eager to return and try more of their subs. The lady at the cashier was also very kind and respectful.
Delicious, mouth-watering halal subs. Lots of variety. It is located near Berkeley campus. We ordered a Grogu, an Ed, Edd, and Eddy, and a Crave Reuben. We also ordered the curly fries. It was about $75 total for the meal for three. It's a bit on the pricier side, but everything was amazing. PLUS: There's a yummy ice cream shop that shares the same location. This place is a 10/10. We got the fried chicken sandwich with Korean bbq sauce and coleslaw. It was amazing! Messy to eat but so so good. Their signature sauce is delicious. The atmosphere is cute with comic books on the wall. They share the space with an ice cream shop. Service was fast and friendly. We had the French bread which was soft. I placed an online order and it was ready in only 15 minutes. The storefront and bathrooms were clean and inviting. I chose the vegan Goku on sourdough, and my wife had the Shaggy. We both loved our sandwiches during a quick drive to Tilden Park. Parking was easy, right out front and close to UC Berkeley.
This sandwich shop has the right name Crave. I can't stop ordering a Turkey BLT each time I'm in Berkeley. I especially love this sandwich because the bacon is made of beef and that's hard to find in a sandwich shop. They also have a huge selection ofvegan/vegetarian options as well. Halal at it's best
I really enjoy the sandwiches at Crave Subs! They’re ideal for a quick bite before a football game. The portions are generous, and the curly fries are fantastic. The menu offers choices for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and vegans, and it’s straightforward to navigate.
I'm always greeted with super nice employees. food is always really great and filling. love the halal and vegan options. I always get something new and love it each time. there's lots of seating space both inside and outside

The subs at this restaurant taste great and are reasonably priced. The service is friendly and they offer a wide variety of options for customers with different dietary restrictions, which is fantastic.
