Our visit to the restaurant was fantastic. Despite reading some negative reviews beforehand, we decided to give it a try while on holiday nearby. We had initially planned to go to the Creagan Inn for lunch, but after reading the reviews, we drove about 8 miles to check it out first. We were pleasantly surprised by the pleasant atmosphere and decided to book a table. I've been here years ago and had good memories so was looking forward to a nice solo meal. I should have stayed in my campsite and cooked for myself. I had the scallops large plate. They arrived suspiciously fast. Each scallop had a slightly coloured top which turned out to be unchewable. The rest of it was poor very soft and wet. They did not look like they should if served straight from the pan with a crisp seared top. They were presented on a deeply unpleasant mushy pea porridge with about a teaspoon of black pudding crumb. We visited the Creagan Inn in August 2022 during our trip from Canada, and I have been meaning to write a review ever since because we can't stop talking about how amazing the meal was. There were 10 of us, and we all absolutely loved the food and found the service to be excellent. Two members of our group tried the oysters and now feel spoiled because they can't find oysters as good anywhere else, and another member said the same about the scallops. I personally had a mushroom toast that I still dream about because it was so delicious. Our time at the Creagan Inn was one of the highlights of our month-long trip to Scotland, and I can't wait to go back again.

I can’t recommend the Creagan Inn highly enough. The views are stunning but the welcome is also very friendly too. We turned up with four dogs but that wasn’t a problem at all, we all sat outside very happily. The food was really excellent too. It’s unpretentious pub food but done very well. Everyone in our group was happy and full. Definitely worth a trip out from Oban. Places like this deserve to succeed!
We stopped by for a drink after walking our dog in nearby Benderloch. The weather was unusually nice, so we sat at the water's edge and admired the view from the restaurant's beer garden. It was a peaceful spot! Although we didn't eat this time, the menu looked great and the restaurant appeared to be well-maintained and inviting inside.
We arrived with family and friends 7 of us just as a coach trip leaving and we thought it was very busy and noisy But when they left we were so well looked after and food choices and quality of food was great. Very enjoyable evening and customer service excellent
Had a lovely lunch. Big shout out for the Sunday roast. It was so tasty and lots of beef. So glad we stopped here for food. The service was great too (sorry didn’t get the guys name but very friendly)

Fantastic lunch. Really tasty specials, lovely, unusual sodas mixed in house and amazing service from Callum James. Oh, and the views are to die for!
The food here is seriously good, the views are breathtaking and the owners and staff are delightful
