Wow since covid this place has gone downhill. At least at McDonald's they get your order right. Where do I start,....This is hard since I used to be a regular. However after they mess up eggs Benedict 3 times in a row. The cook obviously does not know how to poach an egg correctly, cause on my bday, of all days I had the worst eggs Benedict I have ever had at Crepevine. Sad thing is I requested to go for my bday and what a let down. Now to current, they mess up the simplest order and seem to have lost pride in providing quality food and quality service. No consistency every time I order the same meal yet it comes made 4 different ways . I hate to say it but avoid them until the owner fires a...
I was extremely impressed with this restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the service friendly. My partner and I often come to Santa Monica for shopping, and this may become our new go-to spot for brunch and lunch. I ordered the BBQ sandwich this time, and she had the gluten-free pasta. I was pleasantly surprised to find gluten-free options on the menu, and the fact that they included a gluten-free bread with her meal was very thoughtful and much appreciated. This kind of service really stands out. We will definitely be returning here.
I haven't been to this restaurant in a while. And it will be a while before I go back. There were several items on the menu that were discontinued so that was disappointing. We placed our order and went to the table... No number given to place on the table. Twenty five minutes later we had to ask about our food. The table of 10 next to us received food shortly after ours came out and they arrived twenty minutes after us. We had to ask for more coffee. The food was okay with generous portions
YUMMY. I should have snapped a pic to show everyone how great my breakfast looked. Huge plate of food. Large salad and a heap of crunch roasted potatoes filled 2/3 of a very big plate. The other 1/3 was taken up by a perfectly done crepe that was filled with scrambled eggs, slices of chicken apple sausage and grilled onions. ? exactly what I needed for the start to a busy day. Hard part is figuring out what to try next. Oh, and the staff are super friendly and very attentive.
I was very impressed with this restaurant. Great atmosphere and friendly service. My partner and I come a lot to shop for Santa Rosa and this could be our new brunch and lunch place... I had the BBQ sandwich this time and she had a GF Pasta. I am truly remarkable that they are gluten-free pasta here and the fact that someone notices putting gluten-free bread with their meal was very much noticed and appreciated. That's a good service. Come back here.
eclectic menu entices them, but service and ambiente do not follow through. this fast service café lacks a soul. the personal goes through the movements, but without a feeling of authentic hospitality. outside terrace needs a large cleaning. Perhaps they add some appropriately programmed music to live? Food sounds inventive, but what is delivered is average quality. no hurry to come back.
