After finishing my drink, Linda asked if I wanted another. Considering her earlier comments about specifying my order, I politely requested that it be shaken and served in a martini glass. Suddenly, she interrupted me and said, “I know what you want!” This rude outburst completely ruined my experience, and I decided to cut my visit short. I asked for the check and told her how unprofessional and rude she had been towards me as a long-time customer. This isn't the place you come to if you're trying to stick to a diet. Crickets offers delicious comfort food that really satisfies. As others have mentioned, it’s a local favorite and a staple in Sayville. The fish and chips are fantastic, but I can't resist ordering the Turkey Melt lately! It's very family-friendly and budget-friendly too. We always have a wonderful time here!
It's open! The indoor dining area has proper spacing between tables. We had dinner at Crickets on Friday night, and it feels wonderful to be back! It's a refreshing experience in these challenging times. The food is just as good as you remember, and the service is excellent. If you're thinking about whether to visit Crickets, now is definitely the time to go.
Food is always solid and good. For good old fashion food that is delicious and rarely changes. Sometimes, the waitress are not the nicest but you can tell they are not playing around with your food if you know what I mean. I would give it 3 1/2 for solid food if I could. Good burgers and sandwiches. Try the chili, very good. Clean but dated which I like.
