During my two-day stay in Prestatyn on February 22nd and 23rd, 2023, I dined at this restaurant twice. It is a small and cozy cafe where you might have to wait for a table. The haddock and chips, along with a cup of tea, were absolutely delicious. The Turkish chefs and servers were exceptional. If these guys were to open a fish and chips restaurant in Ireland, they would require a large warehouse full of tables and chairs. Ireland's chip shops are quite lacking in comparison.
Popped in to crispy cod to order some food to be delivered later.. a box meal I was welcomed with a smile and the 4 staff at the front was all happy and relaxed. When the food was delivered the gentleman was really nice and handed us over a massive pizza box and a carrier bag full of food also a bottle of Pepsi. Food was fantastic and hot there was 6 of us and loads left over. Food was great and recommend this to anyone and everyone...
I stopped by this evening for chicken portions without any chips. I ordered three chicken portions and was shocked to learn that it cost 17 pounds. I gave my wife my card to pay, so I didn't realize the total until later. It seems like they were overcharging us. Unfortunately, more than half of the meal ended up in the bin as it was dry and overcooked. I won't be returning again.
We visited for a quick, convenient tea whilst on a visit to the town. We weren’t expecting anything and just wanted somewhere handy. Couldn’t have been more impressed with the staff, the food and the service. Great food and good portions at very reasonable prices. This is the worst fish and chip shop I have ever been to. My sister and I ordered fish cakes and chips because it was busy and we thought it would be good since they had a hygiene rating of 4.5. However, the food was terrible. It tasted and smelled like rancid oil. I will not be going back there anytime soon.
Had to wait about 20mins for fish, fair enough it will be nice and fresh. Fish had been annihilated, thick soggy batter and over cooked! The chips were very soggy and covered in brown flecks-obviously oil needs changing. £28 for 3 fish and chips with sauces! Won’t be returning!
