Had a very strange and disappointing experience in this pup last Saturday night. I ve visited this pub on and off for a few years with family and friends and never had a problem. However last Saturday i stopped by for a pint after work at about 10 30pm. The bar maid called last orders and very nicely asked if I wanted another pint before closing. However midway through drinking it a large and charmless gentleman with an Irish accent rudely approached the table i was sat at and demand i leave. It was about 11 15pm. Had a delightful lunch on Boxing Day with friendly staff and excellent value. There was a wide selection to choose from, and the real fire added a lovely touch.
