While we have bought carry-out from Crystal's, on Friday nights, during the pandemic, we had never eaten inside before. (This might be a good time to mention that we really, REALLY, like her fish on Fridays; Hubby is a catfish aficionado, while I am happy with cod. She offers both. Today, Hubby and I ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. They were absolutely delicious and so hot that we had to blow on them to cool them down. This is an superb dish that could be the center of a gourmet menu with a unique dip or dressing such as a roasted red pepper balsamic reduction or even pico de gallo. My wife and I stopped in here Sunday morning for breakfast. This is the first time that I've had this local establishment. I've heard good things I've always wanted to try it and we finally got an opportunity to go. I got the good old country breakfast with the bacon and eggs and biscuits and I must say it was fantastic. The atmosphere was great it's no longer a smoking restaurant so that helps out a lot too. And we both enjoyed our food very much so and we will be back
My dear friend was verbally accosted in front of her children at Crystal 's Country Diner when the owner illegally asked for papers on her daughter 's service dog. He was clearly identified by his service animal vest. Both the owner and an employee yelled at her demanding papers. Must be unfamiliar with customer service and compliance with ADA guidelines. -Posted by a friend I know this family and that is a service dog.
Country cooking all day with family friends type of atmosphere. Cute little cafe on the corner. Also had 2 nice seating benches outside to sit on after enjoying our meal. I had an egg sandwich on rye, and paid extra for a slice of cheese on it. I also had the home fries with onion and cheese, which was my favorite part of my meal. Waitress was on top of things and nice.

The food is good and the atmosphere is as well. We have on occasion had to wait a long time for our order, which was very disappointing. Worth a try. For the record, my wife loves the pancakes.
Post Turkey Run Park hike breakfast. Delicious diner breakfast. Cute country diner decor. Obviously a regular local's spot. Can't speak for the lunch or dinner but certainly plan to return.
Do not spend your money at this awful place. They treat people with service dogs poorly and scream at the owners. They refuse to follow ada guidelines.
Great country cooking! Just like I learned to cook. Liver was a bit chewy, but that could just be the cut of meat.
