In the last decade this place was like a second home. Birthdays, first dates, Father's Day dinner, breakfasts to cheat me, lunch with friends, bouquet solo sessions and late night charcuterie wine escapades. It is also the only place where I can eat alone in Melbourne and feel 100% comfortable. It is also the only place in Melbourne that nails breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Can't wait until this place opens again. And in the meantime, the roasted lamb shoulder is delivered everything you would expect from the food at this Melbourne Institute. The Caesar salad is also amazing: Can't recommend this place better. Here is another decade of amazing culinary experiences x

Went here on a business trip. Walked in with 2 others, place was packed. We were offered a seat at the bar overlooking the kitchen anything was good to get out of the cold. When the menu came we had no idea what to order so took the $75 a head meal option (a bit of everything). Even though they are quite small serves by the time the final dish of Roasted Lamb Shoulder came out we were pretty well stuffed. Drinks were a bit pricey. Desert was great. The place has a great vibe, busy, great views of the kitchen. Great watching the apprentice chef doing the Rum Ba Ba. As I said, not a place I would normally eat at, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We went for the chefs selections shared plates, PERFECT for a dinner date. We sat at the bar facing open kitchen, awesome experience to watch the team do what they do. Great service, everyone attentive and played their part for a great dining experience. Place was pumping at 10pm Sunday so book ahead!

We had a great dinner there. The place is a classic Melbourne dining spot. Exposed brick walls, cool wine bar, private function room, drink carts. The food was amazing, the service was great. I would recommend this place for a date spot or a catch up with friends.

Had the choice of courts. Was an expensive treat, but delicious. A little veg heavy, but then a huge lamb came out!
