Cúrcuma Cocina Vegetariana

We tried three different items: the salad, eggplant, and wraps. Everything was really fresh and pretty tasty considering that lack of produce and spices down in Chalten (you walk around the grocery store and there isn't cinnamon or other seasoning options available). That being said, our meal for two was almost $60 USD. We got a bottle of wine and failed to ask about the price since it was literally the only bottle that they had. The wine was a cheap (and sugary) Moscato, so we didn't think that it would be more than like $10 for the bottle. We should have asked about the price, but we'll know for next time. I can’t say enough great things about Curcuma! It’s hands down the tastiest food in Patagonia. It’s clean, fresh and made with thought and care. I live in Los Angeles and we do not have a shortage of vegan restaurants. Curcuma for me stands out as one of the best. The kitchen is filled with love and creativity. Try the zucchini noodles and the juices are excellent. I got the wrap as well for a hike and tried the pizzas and burger during my time in El Chalten. Thank you Curcuma for all of the delicious food!!!

Yummy risotto and stuffed eggplant avocado mousse for dessert so delicious. All baked goods were gluten free. Unique little food delivery system upstairs. Recommend that you eat in house but don’t get their lunch Box but because we wanted to pick it up at 8 it was made the night before and was all soggy whilst I like beetroot it leaked everywhere despite double wrapping.

We tried to eat at this place 2 times and every time it was either closed or about to close. Luckily for us, we made it the 3rd time! We were there for breakfast and had the best service ever, the girl was so lovely to us! Our juices and muffins were really tasty, so bad we were just 3 days in the city. It’s hard to find good vegetarian food in Argentina. This is the best I had. Got a “hamburger” (adzuki bean) which I thought would come with a bun and lettuce but instead it was deconstructed with a tasty carrot radish sauce and potato slices and rice pilaf. All very fresh and tasty. Reminded me of the co-ops in Berkeley.

This is a fantastic vegan vegetarian restaurant with a clever and inventive menu. Some of the most delicious vegan food I have ever eaten. All made from natural ingredients. The fresh juice blends are delicious too. Tried 4 mains here if I had been staying longer I would have tasted everything on the menu! A must visit!

Healthy and delicious vegan food in a tiny, but very popular, restaurant. The whole menu is also gluten free, with substitutions like rice buckwheat for pizza base, scrambled rice instead of a burger bun. Other delicious meals included their take-away wrap and the stuffed aubergine. Good value too.

So happy to find a vegan restaurant in El Chalten...it was nice and food was really good. The girls running the restaurant are smiling and cheerful. NOT too cheap must be said...but it was nice freshly made food. Definitely recommend it. Réservez une table maintenant

Really tasty and healthy food for when you need something nourishing but hearty whilst in El Chalten. We popped in for lunch and ate our vegan burgers in the sunshine outside. Lovely friendly staff and extremely tasty food.

Amazing vegan food with a sweet staff and greenhouse garden. I was so happy to find this place. Smoothies, gluten free, all vegan.
