initially five stars then three stars now five stars again We tried fish and chips from here in March 2020 and we couldn't fault them. I was totally amazed that chips could be so crisp, fresh, soft in the middle and, did I say crisp? I was telling everyone that I don't remember tasting such delicious chips. We bought twice more but then COVID-19 hit and the shop closed. Yesterday we went again and I don't know what's happened but once again the chips were just meh OK. Nothing special, not crisp, a little rubbery and horrible as they cooled down. What has changed? Please return to whatever you were doing right before the lockdown. Maybe you cannot get the same products now. If so, that's real...
Havent been disappointed yet and have been here many times. Chips are very tastey and the batter is nice on the fish. Being cash only is the only negative but its not hard to keep some notes on me during the week incase of emergency dinner.
Excellent Fish n Chips, always fresh fish, never smelly and the staff always regularly change the oil so fish is always crispy and golden fried. Chips are crispy on the outside and fluffy potatoe on the inside. Yum. Highly recommended.
This restaurant serves the best fish and chips! The staff is very friendly and the chips are always crispy with the perfect amount of salt. The portions are huge as well. Just keep in mind that they only accept cash as payment.
