I ordered lamb chops, tandoori chicken, special Briyani and tikka briyani. It is worst ever tasted Briyani in my life time. Lamb chops were expired. Aloo which gave as free was oily. Curry was oily. Lamb chops was greasy oily. Only Tandoori chicken tasted good, but it too had so much oil. How on the earth you make oily tandoori chicken ? Basically tandoori chicken means it’s roasted in heat not fried in oil, so will not get oil in tandoori chicken. That is the reason why I ordered tandoori chicken and lamb chops. But this restaurant is vice versa. Briyani was tasteless, with added unwanted spices and smells bad (I get nasty smell when burp). Food and safety team should visit this restaurant...
I love my Indian food but I don't think I've tasted anything so rank in my life. The popadoms tasted like they were fried in a very old oil, they stank and tasted really bitter. The chicken tikka masala sauce didn't taste like curry at all, it tased like some water down vegetable sauce, chicken in the sauce tasted really plane. My mrs chicken korma sauce tasted like sugar with hint of coconut, couldn't taste korma sauce at all. We didn't even bother eating it. The worst thing was when I rang to complain, the manager has told me that that's how chicken tikka masala and korma tastes like. Will never order from this place again, the food was awful.
Stay clear! My flat mate recently placed an order through uber eats with this restaurant. We were a bit apprensive in ordering after reading through some of the reviews, however as we noticed the restaurants response informing of the recent change in ownership, with the benefit of doubt we decided to give it a go. We ordered nann, two curry dishes and some poppadoms, the nann arrived cold, the poppadoms were OK and the curry dishes were overly oily and had a horrible flavour and bitter aftertaste. The curry dishes were not only oily but also watered down. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and would advise to stay clear.
Don't be discouraged by the negative reviews! My partner and I ordered from this restaurant and we were thoroughly impressed. Every dish we tried was delicious, with generous portion sizes. The curries were rich in flavor and packed with tender lamb. We also had the tandoori mixed starter, which was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be ordering from here again. I rated the atmosphere with just 1 star because I've only ever had takeaway from this place, so I can't really comment on it! However, the food is always excellent—I've never had a bad meal from here, and I won't order curry from anywhere else now. The portions are consistently generous, and they sometimes include complimentary poppadoms and chutneys with your order. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I normally get our curry from somewhere else but thought we'd try here. I wish we hadn't! I have never had such a bland, tasteless biryani the side curry was so greasy! I actually had to sieve it! Just really awful! I'll never eat anything from them again. The picture shows how oily it was
