I hosted a party here over the bank holiday weekend, and I can’t recommend this place enough. The food was amazing, and we were even allowed to set up the function room the night before. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful, especially Aryan, who went out of their way to accommodate us. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a simple and stress-free event with delicious food. All of our guests were very happy, particularly with the meal, and some even asked for my contact information in case they wanted to book a party here in the future. Well done to the team for maintaining such wonderful hospitality – great job!
What can i say, absolutely blown away by the food I have just eaten from Curry N Grill House, I have only ever eaten the Chicken Wraps from here and they are a 10/10 so I decided today to order a curry as well as the wrap and it did not disappoint. Chicken Madras with Fried rice, it was spicy but the flavours that were going on in my mouth was like a firework display unbelievable. The staff as well front of house all the way to the chefs big thumbs up from me and my family. P. S The best staff member was the guy who I phoned to congratulate them on the amazing food he deserves a pay rise haha.
The restaurant has two sections: a dining area in the back and a pub with a pool table in the front. There's also a pleasant garden with a smoking area and a few benches. It gets quite busy on weekends, so it's a good idea to call ahead and book a table if you plan to eat there. I will definitely be back soon. Just a heads up: they've implemented a new parking system, so make sure to enter your car registration into the machine upon entering the building.
I've visited this place a few times and I'm happy to say that Aryan is a true gentleman. He does a fantastic job managing the front of house. The food here is significantly better than that at Soho Tavern in Handsworth, and the atmosphere is much more enjoyable. However, the staff seem a bit confused about pricing for drinks, as there are inconsistencies (which I think is just making a big deal out of nothing). Overall, it's a great experience! Ordered a few things to try: samosas, not very impressed, plain and full of potato only; chilli chips, fish pakora is all good, tasty; really tasty chicken biryani, loved it. Only mix grill let us down really good size for the small grill, however some chicken pieces did not smell fresh, had a strange smell, so gone to waste. All food was served quick and hot.
Ordered for delivery, mix grill no fresh probably cooked earlier in the day or yesterday, the Tikka was leg/thigh meat when it should be breast, lamb chops were soggy and probably mutton not lamb, the wings lord knows looked like they were cooked last week. Will never order from there again.. the neighbors dog got an upset stomach
This is the first bad review I've ever left! But ordered from there tonight. My Madras was nice....but my partner ordered a chicken tikka masala and he can normally eat anything and he couldn't eat this....he actually chucked it away which he never does as he loves his food. Really disappointed
Had a beautiful meal tonight,service was fantastic and waiters are very warm and welcoming...what spoiled it for me was being charged £4.40 for two glasses of soda and lime...most pubs give this drink complimentary..very disappointed and soured the evening... Réservez une table maintenant
