D Coal Pot - Réservation de table

I never taste food so good in my life. And I’m not even exaggerating. Everything is so clean and authentic. My go to is the Curry chicken with rice and chickpeas. I hated chickpeas before I ate them here, and now I eat them all the time. The cucumber that they give you plus the hot and sweet sauce is mouthwatering. I even called one day after eating my lunch to tell them how good it was. Definitely the best spot for island food hands down. And not to mention the owner and staff are very very friendly people.

My first time visiting I went for breakfast. My husband ordered my food and when I bit into it it was amazing only thing I wish was that it has some type of sauce or dip to go with it bcuz it was kinda bland to me. But everything was fresh and prepared upon request. I think I had saltfish and bake. He ordered 4 I ate half of one and the other one later on when i got home it was delicious after I added some sauce to it. Definitely a must try spot. Small but friendly service and tasty food

This place is great! I walked in not knowing what I was doing or what I wanted to order. But the incredibly friendly staff was more than helpful and answered all of my questions. I got the Roti, Doubles, and homemade juice. The portions are generous so I got a bag for my leftovers and some dessert to go. People Amazing Food Delicious Price Perfect They do change certain aspects of their menu depending on the day, so I can't wait to go back and try more.

Stopped in close to closing time. 1st visit and definitely not our last. We drove an hour and a half. We had curry goat and chicken. Bussup and the works. Food was amazing. Planning our next trip already. Having lived in Grenada and vacationed in Trinidad the food was just like home. Réservez une table maintenant

This family-friendly restaurant in Hyde Park brings Trinidadian vibes to its menu. Upon entering, you are greeted with a warm welcome and excellent customer service. The food, especially the doubles, bakes, and shark, is outstanding and a must-try. A hidden gem that truly impresses!

if they are from one of the Caribbean islands and are looking for some qualitative western Indian red or double, this is a great place to get their next meal. the service is also quite good, in contrast to some of the other trinidadian restaurants in the environment.

The food is consistently delicious and the portion sizes are generous, especially the roti. I frequent this restaurant every other week and recently enjoyed the goat roti, which was absolutely delicious.

Tried the doubles curry chicken roti and these were dry, no flavor to the doubles and the chicken did not taste cooked. Also no menu so i think i overpaid Réservez une table maintenant

Roti was good, but the beef was way to rough, and my suggestion never go an hour before closing. Go first thing in the morning taste way better I’m sure

This restaurant is now my go-to spot whenever I'm in town. The food is incredibly delicious and the portions are very satisfying.
