da gaetano is always worth a visit. always fresh ingredients, excellent pizza, best antipasti and very good noodle dishes. the portions are always to be filled. the chefin usually serves itself and the chef swirls in the kitchen. special wishes - whether vegan or vegetarian - are always happy to be fulfilled. soil-based wine selection. often very smiling italian. parking places are directly at the restaurant a bit rough - down on the Rhine there is a large parking space - from there there there are just 150 meters to the restaurant.
we were here with friends - everyone eat another and other appetizers. everything was super tasty and also visually very appealing. the prices are very fair and the card with a lot of change.The ambiente is cozy, but also typical Italian - something is therefore rather unsuitable with small children or dogs. the owner runs the pizzeria with a lot of heart blood, the service unfortunately does not share its engagement completely.For me, however, the great food is in the foreground, therefore 5*
we were past weeks with 25 friends at Gaetano.Everything worked excellent despite some special wishes of our children.The chef was very friendly and accommodating what could not be said of an operation. it was rather unfriendly when it was pointed out to a wrongly served eating. therefore also a point of deduction.It was very good to eat. However, the homemade antipasti - very large cinema at a fair price are particularly noteworthy. Overall, the gaetano is absolutely recommended!
have been turned on due to the good reviews and our expectations have not been met....with three people we had salat, pizza and pasta..The salat of the house was extremely sweetly dressed, tasteless and boring...Pfeffer and salt were probably on an external mission ;-). in the nuds carbonara the same...and why were there chopped meats in there? the pizza had average delivery service standard. also a meal had been forgotten...Factory...Of course and wasted time. there are good pizzas for fair price. also the other dishes and drinks are fairly calculated in view of the againstd (rheingau!). we ordered a delicious pizza and before the bruscetta on pizzabrot. the bruscetta is tasty, but for a person clearly too much and goes through rather than mainstream. my wife had pasta that was perfect al dente. the service is expandable, however it was also quite full. total 4 stars.
Once you can find the door to get in---prepare for some great food and great beers. Get there by 5:30--have a reservation and its even kid friendly. Note--this culture will let you hang at the table as long as you want. So if you need the check. speak up. This is on our repeat list and not many restaurants are on that.
Excellent Italian food by a rotund, delightful, interesting Italian host. You receive a welcome only a true Italian can give you, with Ciao bello and do you want a Grappa? Hi end Italian fare at very reasonable prices. Outstanding Italian wines including DOC and DOCG's.
